Please Join Us for Our Annual Year-End Luncheon

Our luncheon will be held once again at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre on Bee Street, and will take place on Dec 18th from 12:30pm to 2:30 pm.  Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful and festive occasion.  (Possible details to come re: special guest) Tickets are $25 and they always sell quickly, so if you plan to attend, please call Jamie Dopp at 250-598-1524 to reserve yours.  I look forward to seeing you there.

Over 100 New Democrats gathered at the Windsor Park Pavilion on September 1st to acclaim Jessica Van Der Veen as the NDP candidate for Oak Bay Gordon Head. Amongst those in attendance was Adrian Dix the leader of the party; Victoria MLA, Rob Fleming; Saanich South MLA, Lana Popham; former New Democrat MLA for OBGH, Elizabeth Cull; former School Board Trustee, Charley Beresford.
The evening began with a tribute to Jack Layton. Jamie Dopp led us in a heartfelt version of “The Mary Ellen Carter” and many sang along.  This created a very special atmosphere for the whole meeting.

Delegate Selection and Resolutions General Membership Meeting for 2011 BCNDP Provincial Convention

The Oak Bay Gordon Head Nomination Meeting will be held September 1st at 7pm, at the Windsor Park Pavilion (2451 Windsor Road). Please join us, along with the leader of the BCNDP, Adrian Dix, as we select our candidate for the next provincial election.

Our Nomination Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 1st. BCNDP Leader Adrian Dix is scheduled to attend. Time and location will follow shortly.
